RETURN POLICY
If you pay for your order by credit card and you wish to cancel that order prior to its shipping, Black Cloud Diesel Performance will charge you a Cancellation Fee which is 20% of total purchase price and
covers the processing expenses and the transaction expenses Black Cloud incurs using a credit card clearinghouse service. This will be subtracted from the amount refunded from your card.
Chargebacks will be turned to collection. This does affect your credit rating. If you receive a damaged product, or it does
not meet your expectations, contact us here at Black Cloud Diesel 715-824-5051
for instructions on how to return the new/unused/uninstalled item. We will require that the product be in the original packaging, with the return number we provide to you clearly marked on the package
and with return number noted inside the package, shipped by you prepaid within 30 days of order date, and with a copy of the invoice for a refund or exchange following inspection of the product.
1.- Unopened Items-
We will refund you for any unopened item (less cost of shipping product to you and less 20% of order total) for any reason within 15 days of the original purchase date.
2. - Opened items-
We will refund you for any opened item not including any electronics, custom order or custom programmed items (less cost of shipping product to you and less 20% of order total) if it meets these criteria:
-must be in as-new condition, -uninstalled, -in original packaging with the packing slip,
-with any/all warranty cards, manuals and accessories within 15 days of the original purchase date. Exceptions noted below.
-You will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
- After 15 days all returns are subject to a 26% restocking fee
-Please make sure the box you return your product in is securely wrapped.
You are responsible for the condition the returned product arrives in. If product is not received by us in resaleable condition it is not eligible for refund. It can be shipped back to you at your request. You pay cost of shipping product back to you.
We do not accept returns on the following:
1. Any non-standard item that is manufactured or modified to a specific customer's
needs.
2. Exhaust systems, down pipes, or other exhaust component after it has been installed.
3. Any electronic components
4. Any parts if they have been installed on the vehicle.
5. Any liquid product after the manufacturer's seal has been broken.
6. Any return after 30 days.
7. Items damaged due to improper installation, abuse, misuse, or neglect will not be eligible for replacement
or accepted for return.
8. Any item without a copy of the original invoice, return form, and RMA# unless other
special arrangements have been made.
9. Please check thoroughly to see that you have -received the correct components/parts,
-received all parts ordered and necessary,
-and appear to be in working order before beginning any installation.
10. By placing an order with Black Cloud Diesel Performance, you implicitly agree to all policies and terms.
IMPORTANT 7.3L FORD POWERSTROKE CORE RETURNS/CORE CHARGE INFORMATION:
In order to pass the cost saving on to you, the remanufacturer Swamps Diesel, does our 7.3L FORD injectors in house, under one roof...from disassembly & blueprinting, to machining, testing & assembly! This process begins when your cores are received in the shop. At this point your injector cores become our property and cannot be returned to you if your cores don't pass inspection. The reassembly process is costly in terms of shoptime, and macnine work has already been done.
CORE POLICY AND INJECTOR CORE DEFINITION
In an effort to keep our prices low, ALL Swamps Remanufactured Injectors are sold with the return of your injector cores as a part of the final purchase cost rather than an up-front cost. This means it is not charged up-front, and will only be added to your account if necessary.
Swamp's Diesel Performance defines CORE INJECTORS as those injectors which were most recently installed into your vehicle's engine. Injectors returned to us which are out of a salvage yard, injectors which have been burned, or externally damaged, will NOT be suitable as cores. Any injector which has previously been disassembled will NOT be a suitable core injector. If you have any questions these restrictions to your core injectors, please don't hesitate to give us a call.
We do not bill a core charge up-front with purchase of remanufactured fuel injectors. However, if you fail to return any core within 21 days of delivery, you, by failure to return cores, agree to a $1000 core charge which will be added to your card. If, due to scheduling conflicts, installation of the new injectors will not occur in a reasonable amount of time, please CALL US, we may, at our discretion, extend your 21 day core return window to better suit your installation schedule. 715-824-5051.
**If you are purchasing Baby Swamps or Stage 1 S/175/146's, then the following CORE POLICY and charges will be applicable:
Your cores need to meet ALL of the stipulations outlined in our definition of "CORE INJECTORS" as well as being free of damage which can occur due to too low fuel pressure, poor quality fuel being run through the injectors, or for any other reason. If your cores are damaged, it is likely that all 8 of the PLUNGER & BARREL Assemblies in the cores are damaged, and will be replaced at a cost of $60 each/$480 per set if all are damaged and will be automatically replaced during the inspection process. Damaged solenoids $25 each/$200 per set if all are damaged. Damage is determined based upon Swamps Diesel machine inspection ONLY, not someone's inspection by eye. Any Plunger & Barrel Assembly replacements WILL be charged to you as the final cost of your injector purchase. You the customer agree to this charge by purchasing a set of these injectors. Failure to pay for injectors in full will VOID the Warranty.
We don't charge for the 8 Plunger & Barrel Assembly replacements up front because you might not need them replaced, and we don't want to charge $480 for parts you don't need.
**With other injector set purchases, as long as we receive injectors which meet the above definition of CORE INJECTORS, no plunger & barrel replacement costs apply.
Normal injector wear, to include poppet valve wear, fuel plate erosion, loss of internal spring tension, etc, is considered normal, and we repair/replace those parts on every set. Normal wear is not something we consider to be out of the ordinary, so no extra charges would apply. If you have any questions regarding our core policy, please don't hesitate to give us a call.
